A chilling and senseless act of violence unfolded in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood Thursday afternoon, leaving a 24-year-old man dead in what authorities are describing as a brutal stabbing attack. The young man was targeted by a group of five to six men dressed in dark clothing, who viciously attacked him on Halsey Street, just near Central Avenue. The incident occurred around 3:40 p.m., shocking local residents and prompting an immediate police investigation.
Witnesses report seeing the group approach the victim and, without any apparent provocation, strike him with a sharp object. The attack was swift and brutal, with the victim suffering a fatal chest wound. The assailants, after committing the crime, fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Halsey Street.
