Luxury Heists Unraveled: Two Arrested in NYC’s Diamond District Linked to NFL Star Burglaries

Two men have been arrested in New York’s Diamond District in connection to a multi-million-dollar burglary ring targeting high-profile victims, including NFL stars Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce.

Dimitriy Nezhinskiy, 43, and Juan Villar, 48, were taken into custody by the FBI, accused of fencing stolen luxury goods worth up to $5 million. Authorities say the pair worked with organized South American crime groups responsible for a series of high-end burglaries across the country.

Investigators discovered stolen jewelry, designer watches, rare collectibles, and high-end artwork during raids, linking the duo to crimes dating back to 2020. One of the most shocking revelations connects Nezhinskiy to the December burglary of Joe Burrow’s $7.5 million mansion.

Both suspects appeared in federal court in Brooklyn, facing charges related to their alleged roles in laundering stolen property. Nezhinskiy was released on a $1 million bond, while Villar remains in custody.

Authorities continue their investigation, suggesting more arrests could follow as they dismantle the network behind these high-profile heists.
